Why this site

Aftershock Nepal is about the aftermath of the April 2015 earthquake, an attempt to chronicle a troubling period in a nation’s history. Our aim is to capture the voices of ordinary people, voices that would otherwise be unheard—and through such everyday stories, by connecting communities, we hope to play a small part in helping the rebuilding of Nepal.
